Cake Smash Information

Retainers
The non-refundable retainers will be $125 with the balance due 7 days before your scheduled session. The retainer is for the session date, time and location only. The retainer is not transferable to another date unless we have to reschedule due to weather, or photographer illness.

Gallery Delivery
I will deliver a fully edited gallery within fourteen (14) business days. Your images will be watermarked upon receiving your gallery. The images will not be watermarked once the images are downloaded

Pricing Explained
All Cake Smash sessions will be booked at studio pricing and include a white seamless backdrop and a cake. Add on items are available to purchase to create a unique set.

  • Custom Set (Additional fee: $150) I will provide a set customized to your baby’s birthday party theme. This will include props. I will send home items with you that are purchased specific for this theme and keep the items that are staple pieces in my studio prop collection

  • Bring Your Own Props (Drop off) (Additional fee: $0) You can drop off props you would like used in your set prior to the session date at my home.

  • Wardobe (Additional fee: $20 - Max quantity: 2) I will provide the wardrobe for your baby’s session. This may be from my client closet, or purchased.

  • Balloon Arch Only (Additional fee: $50) - You can select a color scheme for a simple balloon arch. This will be sent home with you.

Are you special needs friendly?
Absolutely! I work in Special Education for LVJUSD with over 20 years in the field through varies organizations such as Exceptional Needs Network where I held a board position, Respite Care, Kaleidoscope (teen and adult daycare), and more! Last year, I became a licensed RBT, but did not renew it for the upcoming year.

Are you dog friendly?
Bring me those pups! Dogs are part of the family and as long as they are in outdoor portraits and are non-aggressive, I welcome them!

Can I bring additional people to my session?
All sessions are designed for immediate family only. Blended Family Add on is available for an additional $100. This would be for children, both parents and/or new partners/siblings. Both sets of parents will be allowed to download the images. This add on is for all image package only in a standard session - not available for mini sessions. Please email me to set this up as each set of parents will have their own contract/booking to gain access to the images. For larger groups/extended families, please email for a specific quote.
